The Maria Fortner Foundation was founded in 2025, the year the Fortner family lost their Sweet Maria. Their hope is to honor her life, through the things and people she held closest to her heart. We strive to Live like Maria by helping young students broaden their education, advocating for Cancer Patients and keeping her legacy alive, sharing her love and compassion with each one of you.

As we strive to help students earn their degree, improve and support local hospitals, and help advocate for other cancer patients and their families.
